02 - 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning
→ Creamy Layers
03 - 1 cup sour cream, divided
04 - 1 cup guacamole
05 - 1 cup salsa (thick and chunky recommended)
→ Cheese and Vegetables
06 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
07 - 1 cup shredded lettuce
08 - 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
09 - 1/4 cup sliced black olives
10 - 2 scallions, thinly sliced
→ Decoration
11 - 1 small resealable plastic bag for piping sour cream
12 - 1 black olive or cherry tomato for spider decoration (optional)
# Method:
01 - In a mixing bowl, combine refried beans and taco seasoning, mixing until fully incorporated.
02 - Spread the seasoned beans evenly into the bottom of a large shallow serving dish or pie plate.
03 - Gently layer guacamole over the beans, smoothing to cover the entire surface.
04 - Spread 3/4 cup sour cream over the guacamole to form an even layer.
05 - Distribute salsa evenly atop the sour cream.
06 - Sprinkle shredded lettuce followed by cheddar cheese over the salsa.
07 - Scatter diced tomatoes, black olives, and sliced scallions over the cheese.
08 - Place remaining 1/4 cup sour cream into a resealable bag, snip a small corner, and pipe circles over the dip. Drag a toothpick from the center outward at intervals to create a spiderweb design.
09 - For optional decoration, halve a black olive or cherry tomato for the spider body. Slice additional olive or tomato for legs and arrange atop the web.
